释义 | ‖ mahˈmudi Obs. Also 7 mammothee, mamudee, mahomedee, mamoodo, mammo(o)da, mam(m)oodee, mahmoudi, -y, 7–8 mamooda, 8 mahmoodee, mahmudie, mahmoude. [Pers. maḥmūdī, f. the name of Shah Maḥmūd.] A Persian money of account, orig. a silver coin of the approximate value of twelve pence. Also, a gold coin formerly circulating in India.
