释义 | postpreˈdicament [ad. med. Schol. L. postprædicāmentum, in Abelard a 1142, etc.; f. L. post after + prædicāmentum predicament.] pl. The five relations considered by Aristotle at the end of his work on the ten predicaments or categories: viz. opposites (ἀντικείµενα), of four kinds; and the conceptions before or priority (πρότερον), of five kinds; at once or simultaneity (ἅµα), of two kinds; motion (κίνησις), of six kinds; and having (ἔχειν), of eight kinds.
