释义 | ‖ seah Hebrew Antiq.|ˈsiːə| [Heb. s⊇āh, in the Eng. Bible translated ‘measure’ (e.g. Gen. xviii. 6, 2 Kings vii. 1), as is also the Græcized form σάτον in the New Testament (e.g. Matt. xiii. 33).] A Hebrew dry measure, equal (according to Rabbinical statements) to six times the cab (cab n.1) and to one-third of the ephah.
