Hugo Strunz (b. 1910), German mineralogist: see -ite1.] A hydrated basic phosphate of manganese and iron, MnFe2(PO4)2(OH)2.8H2O, found as tiny yellow hair- or lath-like monoclinic crystals and produced by the weathering of manganese and iron phosphates.
