Having a single nasal passage only; spec. applied to the Monorhina, a group of skulled vertebrates, having only one nasal passage, and comprising the lampreys and hags. Also monorhinal |ˈmɒnɒraɪnəl|, monorhinous |ˈmɒnɒraɪnəs|, adjs. in the same sense.
