[f. papilla + Gr. ending -ωµα, -ōma = formation; cf. condyloma.] A tumour of the skin or of a mucous membrane, consisting of an overgrown papilla or group of papillæ, usually covered with a layer of thickened epidermis or epithelium; e.g. a wart, corn, condyloma, etc.
