1. A wild sheep, esp. Ovis musimon, native of the mountainous regions of southern Europe, as Sardinia, Corsica, and the Isles of Greece. maned mouflon, ruffled mouflon, the wild sheep of Barbary, Ammotragus tragelaphus.
