释义 | ‖ pulvinus Bot.|pʌlˈvaɪnəs| [L. pulvīnus cushion, pillow.] Any cushion-like swelling or expansion of a stem or petiole; esp. a protuberance or enlargement at the foot of the petiole of some leaves, when large, turgid, and contractile, forming a special organ for movement of the leaf.
