释义 | galop|ˈgæləp| Formerly also galope, -oppe. [a. F. galop: see gallop n. (Earlier in the present century, Fr. had galope fem. in this sense.)] ‘A lively dance in 2–4 time, originally a separate and independent dance, but now also forming a portion of a set of quadrilles’ (Stainer & Barrett).
