Acta XVIII. 429): see ribo- and flavin 2.] Vitamin B2; a yellow pigment that is a flavin having a ribityl side-chain and is present in many foods (esp. milk, liver, and green vegetables), deficiency of which leads to poor growth and deterioration of the skin.
