释义 | politarch Anc. Hist.|ˈpɒlɪtɑːk| [ad. Gr. πολιτάρχης (Acts xvii. 6), f. πολίτης a citizen + -αρχης ruler, governor.] A governor of citizens; the title of civic magistrates in some Oriental cities, as Thessalonica, under the Romans.
