释义 | squalene Chem.|ˈskweɪliːn| [f. squalus + -ene.] A colourless, oily, liquid, triterpenoid hydrocarbon, C30H50, which in animals is an intermediate in the biosynthesis of cholesterol and occurs esp. in the liver oils of sharks and other elasmobranch fishes.
