释义 | psalloid, a. Anat.|ps-, ˈsælɔɪd| [ad. mod.L. psalloīdēs, irreg. f. Gr. ψάλλειν (see psalm) + εἶδος form: see -oid.] Resembling a stringed instrument: applied to a part of the fornix of the brain (corpus psalloïdes), from the lines on it suggesting the strings of a musical instrument, whence also called lyra (see lyra 4).
