释义 | heterodont, a. and n. Zool.|ˈhɛtərəʊdɒnt| [mod. f. heter- + Gr. ὀδούς, ὀδοντ- tooth. In mod.F. hétérodon.] A. adj. Having teeth of different kinds or forms (incisors, canines, and molars), as most mammals. Also said of the teeth. Opp. to homodont.
