A drug that inhibits the aggregation of blood platelets, used chiefly to prevent thrombotic complications in patients with atherosclerosis.
Chemical name: 5-[(2-chlorophenyl)methyl]-4,5,6,7-tetrahydrothieno[3,2-c]pyridin-5-yl acetate, C₁₆H₁₆ClNO₂S.
