释义 | Six Clerk Now only Hist. Also Six-Clerk. [See six a. 1 d.] One of the six official clerks formerly connected with the Court of Chancery. The office was abolished in 1843; for a full account of its history see the Penny Cycl. (1842) XXII. 70–72.
