释义 | proguanil Pharm.|prəʊˈgwɑːnɪl| [f. propyl + biguanide + -il.] A bitter-tasting synthetic compound, 1-p-chlorophenyl-5-iso-propylbiguanide, C11H16CIN5, which is used, in the form of its white crystalline hydrochloride, in the prevention and treatment of malaria. Cf. Paludrine.
