[a. G. Rhodanese (K. Lang 1933, in Biochem. Zeitschr. CCLIX. 246), f. Rhodan thiocyanogen: cf. -ase.]
A naturally occurring enzyme, also called thiosulphate sulphurtransferase, which catalyses the formation of thiocyanate and sulphite from thiosulphate and cyanide radicals.
